- It operates through 193 healthcare locations
Program Stabilization:
- The 88th legislature made huge investments in this program to stabilize providers who were consistently exceeding their contracts and absorbing costs
Future Needs:
- There is a shortage of providers, particularly in West Texas & the Panhandle, with 74% of Texas counties lacking an FPP provider
